Déjà vu. Surreality.
Have you ever experienced, not just simply déjà vu, but that everything feels surreal?
Almost like an out of body experience.
Am I even making sense yet?
That’s because this doesn’t make sense to me. It’s that feeling like you’ve been here before. Or sometimes you know where you’re at but everything seems… surreal. Unreal. Unfocused. Like the universe had a time shift. Like everything was paused, but still moving as normal.
It’s a paradox.
This is so frustrating to explain. I was driving home a few nights ago listening to music, and all of the sudden everything went out of focus. It was an unreal experience. It was weird. I can’t describe it.
However, I seem to think, that the feeling of déjà vu or “surreality” is the Lord telling me,
“You’re in the right place right now, this is just where I want you. I love you, son.”
What do you think?

Umm… Just yesterday I had some deja vu at work, and sometimes when I wake up from a mid-day nap I feel like I am in the twilight zone, but I am careful not to read too much into these surreal feelings, because they make no sense to me. You are quite daring to raise the topic though. Good luck, and I hope someone can help.
I would have to lean towards Jacob’s opinion on this one. I have heard similar opinions to Wade’s before, though I tend to not think about it at the time too much. In my own feelings, déjà vu is not something pleasant. It freaks me out sometimes. I am not sure this comment helps, and it is merely my own opinion.
Opinions are exactly what I want though. Thanks for sharing guys. That’s what I like!!!
i actually learned in psych why we experience “Deja Vu” or the feelings we’ve been in the exact same situation before… somehow the brain takes the information it is seeing, hearing, feelings etc and sends it to the part of the brain where memories are stored instead of the part of the brain that decodes sensory information… thus we see what we see and “remember it” at the same time… it seems absolutely like a real memory because our brain thinks it is… weird how that can happen…
idk, hope you found that interesting… if not, sorry i wasted your time
