I once heard that 8 was the number of renewal.
Can you imagine how many weddings are going on today?
Can you imagine how many people thought today was the apocalypse?
Did you know today was the day when the US dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan?
Did you know a baby was born today weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces?
And some awesome fireworks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmKGAIKSASc
Just some of my thoughts and observations.

The US dropped the bomb on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945. Not Aug 8.
I wrote about the attacks of Hiroshima and Nagasaki here:

And do you know why China started the Olympics opening ceremony on ‘08/8/8 at 8:08PM?
I wrote about that here:

You’re totally right. I was reading the wrong day on “What happened today in history.” Haha.
Thanks man. I’ll read those articles tomorrow. Thanks for the interest!
