So I’ve run into this wall. I love blogging and I love sharing stories and the word of God, but it’s called Loren Wade.
That makes no sense. I’m thinking about maybe starting a new blog, but I’m not sure what I want to do yet.
I think what I have been writing about is great, but I can’t seem to find my niche. I suppose I’ll find it eventually. Any input is appreciated!!!

I really like a phrase Ray uses from John Piper, “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.” So I would recommend a blog titled, “Learning to be satisfied in Him.” As people read the blog, they will see that you are out to discover who God is and how you can make your life more relevant to his truth.
Go with your passion, man. Whatever excites you enough to share it with others and make God the glory of it. What is it that you enjoy and gives you that creative rush. Over on Unblack Noise, I mainly focus on Christian metal and especially on Unblack Metal….for the pure reason that Deep Wasabi shifted into that area. And, simply put, I love the music. God made me a Headbanger…..and I thank Him every day for that! Go with your heart in Christ….passion, interest, enthusiasm…..these things will rock your world and the world of others.
Happy hunting, Loren, and God bless you in your search.

It’s music and lyircs, really. I’ll figure something out… eventually.
And thanks for the input guys, it’s super appreciated.
Take your time, and in the meanwhile we will await the new identity with relish. I am sure it will be very cool.

Why must you have a “niche”? Make everything your “niche”. You feel that the title of your blog is inappropriate for the topics you wish to discuss? You said you wanted to share stories and the word of your god…It seems to me that the stories that affect you and things about your god are quite intertwined with your life and as such when you write about your life…you write about these things that you wanted to write about in the first place. The title “Loren Wade” ought to be synonymous with “Stories and the Word of God”. It ought to be synonymous with everything that you live for…there’s can’t possibly be a shortage of things to write about when the topic is everything. There are no walls. It seems foolish to me to build walls where none need to be.
Thank you Pietas. I agree with you.
But I feel shameful putting my name on something that’s for Him. I’m changing that. I may not need a “niche” as you say… and you’re probably right… but I’m not going to put my name as the title for something that shouldn’t be there.
