Hello, I am Loren Wade. I am a writer/blogger, musician, and husband. I was born in March of 1987 and married May of 2008 to the most amazing wife, Gennavieve Christian. My life is dedicated to the Mystery we call God, to my wife, to metal and alternative music, and to the leadership and entrepreneurship of the information age.
I write “An Alternative Discovery of God” to share with my readers how I am encountering God and as an outlet to discover all the creative, odd, and obscure ways we can observe and encounter God. Through my readers, through other bloggers, and through myself, I hope we can delve into the mysterious depths we know as God, through Jesus Christ, to know Him more intimately.
If you’ve been going through the motions of the “Christian” lifestyle and you’re looking for what you’ve been missing, then you just found it. I don’t claim to have all of the answers, but I do know that Christianity as a whole has missed the point. This is about following Jesus Christ’s teachings and example to change the lives of others. This is a dress rehearsal for the life to come. This blog is for you and for me to learn. God is a mystery we will never solve. Let us bask in that mystery.

Godspeed.

Hi Wade,
I am not really a blogger – guess I’m a bit behind the times. But I do admire your creativity, passion, and writing. And I wish you all the best.
Love ya,

Your Wife Says You Are The Most Amazing Man She Ever Met….I Love You Loren Wade.
Hey Loren, I had an encounter with God about a month ago that I could possibly share. It was a life changing experience for me and it is one that I want to make public, so based on whether or not you think it is appropriate for this blog, maybe this is a way to do it. Many have difficulties with the more mystical aspects of Christianity and for this reason I am pretty selective about who I share certain things with. I believe God speaks in unending ways and the way we encounter him is as unique as we are. I’ll talk to you about the experience and you can tell me what you think. I have other stories if you think this one is too “outside” the box, but this is the one that’s on my heart. I’ll talk to you later.
Shalom,
Dylan
So happy to find your website. Your book is on my coffee table and I read it from time to time. I’m very proud to tell everyone you are my Grand Nephew. It’s wonderful that you know Jesus so personally while you are young. I did not discover the personal relationship for many years. God Bless you in all you do. Much love!! Aunt Sonia
